The Canadian Association of Nephrology Dietitians is proud to announce that "The Essential Guide for Renal Dietitians 5th Edition 2025" is now available. We would like to thank the members who contributed their expertise to this edition.
Information updates were made to many sections, the diabetes sections was extensively revised and sections on assessment of functional status, pant-based nutrition, the impact of food additives, cardiorenal failure, and management of hyper and hypokalemia have been added.
The Essential Guide is included in a CAND membership or available for purchase through our online shop for non-members. Group licences are also available to purchase online.
